This Russian Gypsy trio took Dublin by storm a few years back, and since then they have appeared regularly at most of the music venues in their adopted city. They have appeared on TV in the UK, and are about to embark on an extensive UK tour following their successful conquest of mainland Europe. This is their first album, and gives a good idea of what their live performances are like.

The combination of two fiddles and guitar, together with three-part vocals, gives their music great depth and flexibility. Their repertoire ranges from standards such as "Hava Nagila" and "Kalinka" to new compositions, fifty-fifty songs and instrumentals, all imbued with the spirit of gypsy music. These guys really play with fire: the fiddling is stunning, the vocals are dynamic and evocative, and the guitar-playing is rock solid with flashes of pure brilliance.
