The singing of Ann Morgan Jones and Sue Jones-Davies lies at the heart of Welsh group Cusan Tan. Often in distinctive harmony, the voices are set against the harp of distinguished player Robin Huw Bowen and, on this their second album, the acoustic guitar of Howard Evans.

The contemporary songs are written by Ann, who is equally adept at composing in Welsh and English - the inlay has lyrics in both languages. The songs can be gentle and thoughtful, confidently and pleasingly sung over the rippling harp and guitar. Karen Tweed adds some simple but effective accordion to You Are. Cusan Tan, this time the song, swings along briskly with jazz guitar and close harmonies.

Pearl in the Sky is sung more powerfully to piano alone, whilst Y March Glas - The Grey Stallion - is a folk song sung with spirit and without accompaniment. Ann Morgan Jones also composed the single instrumental track, and her flute contributes the melody of the tune.

The final track is the imaginative Beth Sydd Imi - What is there for Me. Again there are their trademark harmonies and harp on a song that shares the title of the singers' own two woman show. This album is another impressive collection of some substantial and original talents.
