Ely Folk Festival - 13-15 July

Ely Folk Festival is a bijou weekend folk and roots music festival that takes place in the wonderful cathedral city of Ely. The festival provides an opportunity to listen to some of the best folk acts around in an intimate and friendly environment. With on-site camping facilities, a real ale bar, lots of kids activities, morris dancing displays, ceilidhs, workshops and music sessions, whether you visit for a day or the whole weekend, the festival is a sure winner for music and festival lovers of all ages.

The Folk Festival is based on a single site and Ely city centre is accessible by shuttle bus or 20 minutes’ walk. Morris sides perform on the festival site and in town on Saturday and Sunday. There is space for tents and caravans on site, and free parking is located on the festival site.

The line-up this year includes Sam Kelly & Friends, 3 Daft Monkeys, Anthony John Clarke, Iona Fyfe, Tim Edey, The Willows, Lindisfarne, Skipinnish, Anthony John Clarke, Broom Bezzums, Flossie Malavialle, John Kirkpatrick, Steve Knightley, Jimmy Aldridge & Sid Goldsmith, Jamie Smith's Mabon and Kathryn Tickell & The Darkening, with many more.
